The Center for Law, Science & Innovation (LSI) is proud to host a new speaker series on the law and policy of blockchain technology. Blockchain is poised to become a foundational technology underlying international supply chains, smart contracts, new personal identification systems, secure voting applications, revolutionized energy markets, and a wide variety of cryptocurrencies.
LSI will host a new panel of speakers every third Wednesday of the month throughout the Spring. These panels will feature blockchain industry leaders and CEOs, State and Federal legislators and policy experts, legal practitioners and more.
The Blockchain Speaker Series panels will discuss new blockchain applications across a range of industries, as well as business and regulator efforts to grapple with, and ultimately govern this emerging technology.
These events are a product of the ASU Law Blockchain Interest Group, headed by Professor and Faculty Director Gary Marchant, which brings together law students, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to build and share expertise in blockchain technology and the rapidly changing law and policy environment.
The Center for Law, Science & Innovation would like to thank our generous event sponsors:
