Her responsibilities include providing legal counsel to the American Arbitration Association and its international division, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, on a broad range of issues, particularly in the areas of dispute resolution, corporate governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, employment and contract management.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ms. Carbone is also Chair of the AAA\u2019s Diversity Committee.\u00a0 As Chair, she launched the AAA Higginbotham Fellows Program in 2009 in order to provide training, mentorship and networking opportunities to up and coming diverse alternative dispute resolution professionals.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prior to joining the American Arbitration Association in 2003, Ms. Carbone worked as a litigation associate in law firms in Washington, D.C. and New York, where her practice focused on commercial litigation.\u00a0 She graduated from the University of Southern California cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1993 and graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1996, where she was an editor of the Women\u2019s Law Journal.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sasha Carbone is the Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary of the American Arbitration Association. \u00a0She is based at the company\u2019s New York headquarters.
