The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law<\/strong><\/a> at Arizona State University in collaboration with Sun Devil Athletics<\/a>, the McCarthy Institute<\/a>, and the Allan “Bud” Selig Sports Law and Business Program<\/a> is pleased to host the United States Patent and Trademark Office<\/a> <\/strong>(USPTO)\u00a0Deputy\u00a0Director Derrick Brent and the first ever USPTO Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) for Student Athletes and Influencers Event in the Great Hall on October 10, 2024.<\/p>

The event is free and open to the public (please register using the link above) and will include complimentary breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon reception with students, athletes, attorneys, and USPTO Leaders. \u00a0Among the speakers will be Freddie Crittenden III, 2024 Paris Olympian in the 110 Hurdles.<\/a><\/p>
