Nicholas A. Trutanich is the Executive Vice President of Litigation & Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for Fox Corporation, a leading media, entertainment, and sports company. Mr. Trutanich heads the corporate litigation practice and oversees its ethics and regulatory compliance program. Mr. Trutanich also served as the Chief Integrity Officer of Fox Sports’ United States Football League (USFL) in its first two seasons.
Mr. Trutanich served as U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada, First Assistant Attorney General and Chief of Staff at the Nevada Attorney General’s Office and a Deputy Chief Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. At the Department of Justice, he served as Deputy Justice Attaché in Baghdad, Iraq.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Trutanich clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and was a litigation and investigations associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Mr. Trutanich received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Katherine, and their three children.
