Mark Danis is Vice President—Deputy General Counsel of The Clorox Company. His responsibilities include the management and oversight of global litigation, regulatory, insurance, marketing, advertising, privacy, cyber security, and labor and employment.
Prior to Clorox, Mark practiced for 25 years as a trial lawyer and partner with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco. He founded the firm’s San Diego office, and also practiced for four years in Tokyo, Japan. He served as a firm-wide Managing Partner of Operations overseeing business operations across the firm’s 17 offices.
Mark received his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Following law school, he clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for Judge Lawrence W. Pierce.
He serves on the Board of the Family Violence Law Center and is a co-leader of the San Quentin prison tennis program.
