Olivier André is Client Relationship Advisor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in New York. He advises
on client relationships and leads the knowledge and business development initiatives for the International
Arbitration Group at Freshfields in the Americas. Prior to Freshfields, he was Senior Vice President,
Global Development & International at the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution
(CPR). As a founding member of the ICCA–New York City Bar–CPR Working Group on Cybersecurity in
International Arbitration, he co–authored the Cybersecurity Protocol in International Arbitration which was
released in November 2019. Olivier is the Chair of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations North America
Committee, a member of the New York International Arbitration Club, and a member of the Boston
International Arbitration Council Advisory Board. At Freshfields, he leads the firm’s Global International
Arbitration Green Task Force which won the inaugural GAR Green Award in 2021. He is also the co–host
of Arbitration Insider, an international arbitration podcast series produced by Freshfields and the New
York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC). Olivier is a member of the New York and Massachusetts
Bars.
