Ruth Franklin

Ruth Franklin is a member of the TSMC AZ leadership team and sets the strategic direction for the legal team in her role as Chief Counsel.  Ruth works to establish trusted relationships among the company business partners to enable all aspects of the company operations.  She is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in California and Arizona, as well as a seasoned Attorney admitted to the California, Arizona, and Utah bars.  Ruth has developed training courses to support the growth of her group and other functional areas within the company and is an Adjunct Professor of Negotiations at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University.  She serves on the board of directors of Global Ties Arizona and the Sustenance Research Institute located in Arizona.  

Ruth has implemented creative alternative resolution processes within the company and is the former Chair of the Executive Council of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Arizona State Bar Association and is a past Executive Council member of the American Arbitration Association.  She enjoys flying and holds a private pilot license with an instrument rating.
